Annual Exhibition
Experience the beauty and tradition of Japanese flower arranging at our Annual Ikebana Exhibition, presented by the Naples Chapter of Ikebana International. Held each year at the Naples Botanical Garden, this event celebrates the refined art of Ikebana with stunning floral displays and cultural activities.
Enjoy over 50 unique arrangements created by members representing the four major Ikebana schools: Ikenobo, Ohara, Kado Sensho Ikenobo, and Sogetsu. Each design reflects the harmony and balance at the heart of this centuries-old art form.
The weekend includes live flower-arranging demonstrations, a Ginza market with Ikebana supplies and gifts, and a DIY booth where guests can create their own small arrangement to take home.
2026 Exhibition: Balance & Harmony
February 6-8, 2026
Get ready for the 2026 Ikebana Exhibition at Naples Botanical Garden—where tradition meets creativity in over 50 stunning floral displays. Enjoy live demonstrations, a curated Ginza market, and a chance to create your own arrangement to take home. Presented by the Naples Chapter of Ikebana International, this beloved annual event is a true celebration of beauty, culture, and community.
Miniature Ikebana Arrangements
One of the highlights of our annual Ikebana Exhibition at the Botanical Gardens is the fun display of miniature ikebana arrangements—affectionately called minis. Though small in scale, each piece is a true work of ikebana, created according to the same artistic principles and school traditions that guide full-sized designs.
A miniature ikebana is not simply a tiny vase with tiny flowers; it is a fully realized composition where proportion, balance, line, and negative space are thoughtfully expressed in a format no larger than 5.5″ × 8.5″. Because of their intimate size, minis invite viewers to slow down and enjoy delicate details that might be overlooked in larger works. At the exhibition, visitors often linger over the mini gallery, captivated by the creativity, charm, and precision each designer brings to these small but expressive arrangements.
2025 Exhibition: For the Love of Flowers
Thank you to everyone who joined us as exhibitors, volunteers and spectators for the 2025 exhibition held over the Valentine's Day weekend.
2024 Naples Annual Ikebana Exhibit
The 2024 Exhibition was a huge success, with many of our members participating by showcasing their school's arrangements. We introduced a successful Do-It-Yourself tent that year, with many of the Garden's visitors tasting a bit of our art form.
